The Wimmera lakes Caravan Resort makes a relaxing and comfortable base for exploring this great motorcycling region. The motorycle friendly crew at the park will do whatever takes to make your stay enjoyable. Especially easy with a dip in the pool after a hot summers day ride.
It’s very easy to find on the Western Highway on the Melbourne side of Horsham.
Bikes can be parked right next to your cabin and the camping area lends itself to comfort with many powered or unpowered sites to suit. Many of them under shady trees.
The cabin accomodation is available in three levels. Standard, superior and deluxe. All of them comfortable and in excellent condition. All cabins are fully ensuited, have full kitchen facilities, color TV’s and air conditioners. The main beds have inner spring mattresses along with electric blankets. Compilmentary tea and coffee is provided for a cuppa when you arrive.
Standard Cabin
The Standard cabins (No linen) have a double in the main bedroom and a trio (a double bed with a single bunk above the it) or a set of bunks. Full kitchen facilities which includes an oven, fridge and microwave, air conditioner and a color TV. The customer is required to provide their own sheets and towels. These are smaller units then the deluxes.
Deluxe Cabins
The Deluxe Cabins have a double bed in one bedroom and the second bedroom configuration varies with either two single beds, a set of bunks, two sets of bunks or a trio (a double bed with a single bunk above it). Full kitchen facilities are provided with an oven, fridge and microwave, airconditioners, and Color TV (some with DVD players). All bedding and towels are provided and all are fully ensuited.
Superior Cabins
The Superior Cabins have a queen bed in one bedroom, a single bed and a set of bunks in the second bedroom. Full kitchen facilities which include an oven, full fridge and microwave, airconditioners, and Austar TV in both the main bedroom and the living area with a DVD in the living room. All bedding and towels are provided and all are fully ensuited. This is a large cabin with plenty of room for the whole family.
Backpacker Rooms
For those looking for a more affordable stay they offer backpacker rooms that accomodate up to 2 people in single beds. When staying in these rooms you are welcome to use the ammenities block and communal cooking facilities
